When a person develops acoustic neuroma, many are shocked and perplexed after the initial diagnosis. Since I have personally experienced this situation, I initiated the IGAN in 2007, a transnational platform that had one goal; to better understand this rare disease. My goal was also to provide neutral support to as many affected people as possible through professional moderation. With thousands of experience reports, more and more medical professionals are also taking advantage of the information provided by those affected. This creates overall transparency and enables a better understanding of this rare tumor. In just five years, IGAN has become the leading platform in Europe! I would like to thank everyone involved from the bottom of my heart for their tireless efforts.
