When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected by means of a cookie. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of internet browser and operating system used, the domain name of your internet provider and other similar information. This is exclusively information which does not allow you to be identified.

This information is required for technical reasons in order to correctly provide the content you have requested from our web pages and is necessarily required for use of the internet. It is used for the following purposes in particular:

  • to ensure that an easy connection with the website is established,
  • to ensure that our website can be used without problems,

The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest arising from the aforementioned data collection purposes. We do not use your data to identify you. The only recipients of the data are the data controller and, possibly, order processors.

Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us, if necessary, in order to optimise our website and the technology behind it.

Cookies

Like many other websites, we use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard disk. We thereby automatically receive certain data, such as your IP address, the browser used, the operating system and your connection to the internet, for example.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or to transfer viruses to a computer. Using the information contained in cookies, we can make navigation easier for you and enable our web pages to be displayed correctly.

The data collected by us will under no circumstances be passed on to third parties and no link will be made to personal data without your consent.

You can, in principle, also view our website without cookies of course. Internet browsers are routinely set to accept cookies. You can generally deactivate the use of cookies via your browser's settings at any time. Please use your internet browser's Help functions to find out how to alter these settings. Please note that individual features of our website may not function if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

Registration on our website

When you register to use our personalised services, some personal data are collected, such as your name, your address and your contact and communication details, for example, your telephone number and email address. If you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we only offer to registered users. Registered users also have the option to amend or delete the data provided when registering, if necessary, at any time. In order to protect the security of your data during transfer, we use the current state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Comment feature

Contact form

If you contact us regarding queries of any kind by email or using the contact form, you are voluntarily giving us permission to contact you. For this purpose, it is necessary to provide a valid email address. This helps us to assign the query and subsequently reply to it. The provision of other data is optional. The details provided by you are stored for the purpose of dealing with the query and any possible subsequent queries. Once your query has been dealt with, the personal data is automatically erased.

Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos in some of our web pages. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection is created to YouTube's servers. Youtube is thereby informed about which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can attribute your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by first logging out of your YouTube account.

When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies to collect information about user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the saving of cookies for the Google Ad program, such cookies will not be saved when you view YouTube videos. However, YouTube also files non-personal user information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you need to block the saving of cookies in your browser.

Further information regarding data protection with «YouTube» is available in the provider's privacy statement at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy statement to ensure that it always meets the current legal requirements or in order to incorporate changes to our services into our privacy statement, e.g. when launching new services. The new privacy statement will then apply to your next visit.
